How to invest in cellular agriculture?
Currently, Agronomics is the largest investment firm that focuses on cellular agriculture. The firm has a broad portfolio that mainly includes cultivated meat and seafood companies. The portfolio also consists of cultivated dairy, chocolate and leather companies and a few plant-based companies. Jim Mellon, the executive director of Agronomics, has written a book “Moo’s law” in which he shares their opinion on all the companies in the field of cellular agriculture. So far, Steakholder Foods is the only cultivated meat company that is publicly traded. Steakholder Foods is an Israeli company that focuses on 3D printing cultivated meat. Among others, Ashton Kutcher has invested in the company (see article).
